MassMATCH News and Information!!!! Exciting news for users of Bookshare.org On Sept 28, 2007, the U.S. Department of Education announced a major five-year award of $32 million to Bookshare.org. This funding is to fully support schools and students with qualifying print disabilities in the country, providing them with access to the entire Bookshare.org collection of accessible electronic books and the software for reading those books. we also have the ability to provide membership for schools and students in bookshare.org free of charge. Because of this funding, We expect to supply millions of books to students over the next five years, provide outreach to every eligible student and school about our Bookshare.org community and continue our work to make equal access to educational materials for disabled students a reality!
