VocRehab Vermont is looking for an Assistive Technology Program Administrator to provide dynamic leadership. Must have a passion for serving people with disabilities. This person will manage a diverse statewide program that includes a nationally recognized public/private AT reuse component; three staffed, well equipped AT try-out centers and many ongoing collaborations with other like-minded groups. If you like to take ideas from paper to reality; want to work with a team that is dedicated to helping individuals be successful and independent; and can keep smiling while juggling people, priorities and paper, this is the job for you!
This position requires frequent (approximately 10%) travel throughout the State of Vermont for outreach to people with disabilities and community organizations. Position supervises four members of the Assistive Technology Program.
Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and f
our years of professional level experience in the broad field of human services or special education, including at least one year in an administrative or supervisory role and one year in a program serving people with disabilities.
Note: Additional work experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a six months for semester basis.
